Born into a medical family comprising a dentist father and a mother who worked as a surgical nurse, Jessica Lee Walden followed her parent’s medical food steps. She is a plastic surgeon and founder of the Walden cosmetic surgery center. The cosmetic surgery center does private plastic and ambulatory surgery. In 2014, she was named among the best Beauty Surgeons by Harper Bazaar.
Walden is a native of Austin, Texas and attended Anderson High school. She then proceeded to the University of Texas, graduating with a Biology degree. She then got her masters from the same university, but its Medical branch, she graduated as a salutatorian.
- Walden started out her career at the Manhattan ENT hospital. She has also been a commentator with ABC news covering plastic surgery. From Manhattan, she went to New York’s Eastern side where she spent 7 and half years. She took part in clinical trials that introduced her to breast implants. She then returned to Texas in 2011 and went into private practice. Her first satellite office was in Marble falls Texas which she opened in 2014. She is well known for her use of 3-D technology that creates the patient’s visual appearance before the surgery. She also uses ThermiVa which is a vaginal tightening method; it also rejuvenates the vagina using radio frequency and temperature control systems. She has developed breast surgery instruments recognized by Accurate scientific and Surgical Instruments.
She sits on the Plastic Surgery practice editorial board of Directors and has co-authored Aesthetic Plastic surgery. She also got elected to the board of directors for the American Aesthetic Surgery Society surgery. Walden is a mother to two, two boys who are twins and has been cited in various medical journals.
