Robert Ivy has received recognition for the role he has played in bringing architecture close to the people. He has shown that architecture is not just about building and construction; there are other applications which need the input of architecture. One of the areas he insists on is for architects to apply their input in healthcare. There is a lot that architects can do to promote healthy living. The way buildings are designed can have a way of helping the people keep fit unknowingly.
